Elder Care | it's not always about ME

I suddenly missed my grandfather (mom?s side) while browsing on old photos. I remember we visit him almost weekly during my younger years and he is such as hard worker even in old age. He had a vegetable garden near my aunt?s place and together with my cousins help him gather his produce. We had so much fun during those visits. He died when I was away during college, my mom and her siblings made sure he was taken well care of during his last days.

Getting old and dying is inevitable, but of course we want our elderly family members to be comfortable and get the best care. I saw several sites offering various elderly care products like Parent Giving Store, the ultimate senior care resource. And while browsing on the different products, I saw this bedside commode with removable arms. It?s an upgrade of what we have at home, and would really be convenient for an elder family member. It is foldable and lightweight so it?s easy to bring even during long family trips. Also the foam bed wedges are very appropriate for those who spend a lot of time in bed like having back problems. Before we usually use the common pillow but these will provide better ease and comfort. Foam bed wedges are available in different sizes, covers and texture.

I am glad we Filipinos are very caring for our elders, unlike other cultures. I am not here to preach but I just believe in Karma, whatever you do to others will get back to you.
