The Role

Bloomberg Businessweek magazine is seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager to join our Acquisition Marketing department. Candidate will support the marketing managers in planning, executing and evaluating all new business promotions including direct mail, insert card and online marketing initiatives (eg. email, paid search, affiliate, marketing on Businessweek.com etc.) for Bloomberg BusinessWeek magazine around the globe.

Responsibilities:

-Oversee the planning and implementation of direct marketing campaigns to optimize response rates and P&L. New business campaign management includes creative development and operations set-up across the sources of acquisition business.

-Manage backend operations to ensure campaigns are executed effectively (creation of urls, promo keys, order pages etc.)

-Generate reports and track results of all new business promotions and sources vs. budget.

-Analyze test results and recommend future testing, promotions etc.

-Create and track expense budgets, subscription production budgets, and forecasts monthly.

-Work closely with Planning and Renewal functions to coordinate promotion efforts.

-Assist in the direct marketing -- planning, execution, tracking and optimizing -- of other Bloomberg businesses including Businessweek Digital, Bloomberg BRIEF newsletters etc.
